About
Hello! I'm Adriane. I'm married to the love of my life, a mama to two very sweet and handsome little boys, and for the purposes of this tiny little slice of the internet - a self taught photographer.*
I live in the big city of Portland, Oregon but I'm a small town girl at heart - originally from Upstate New York, where I often travel to visit my family.
I've always loved the way photography helps us remember our lives, but after my first son was born I started to appreciate it even more. After his birth, I wanted nothing more than to capture every second of his everyday (and still over two years later, I manage to take approximately 10,458 photos a day on my iphone). After his birth, my husband bought me my first portrait lens so I could capture his milestones and our day to day life. Since then, several friends and family members have invited me to capture their everyday moments - an opportunity I do not take lightly. What an honor it has been to shoot for them! I love stepping into people's homes, or meeting up at a fun family outing, to capture the moments that might otherwise go undocumented.
For a couple years now, I've contemplated the idea of opening up shop for everyone else, and so here you go - Adriane Jones Photography.
*I also have a day job, so at this time I do not shoot weddings.
